David Andrew Larson is a 4th generation resident of Ogden Dunes. He has been attending Ogden Dunes Community Church since he was 3 years old, completed confirmation classes, and became a member in 2005. David studied apologetics, theology, Christian history, and philosophy of art at Summit Ministries, Pagosa Springs, Colorado in 2007 and graduated from Purdue University with degrees in Electrical Engineering Technology and Business Management in 2010. David served on the Pastor Nominating Committee that called Pastor Lloyd Sewdin in 2013, and in addition was on the Diaconate from 2014 – 2017. He currently serves as the church Property chair and has been an elder at ODCC since 2018. Professionally, David has worked in Operations Management for ArcelorMittal and Olympic Steel, but is currently running a contracting, construction, and property maintenance company called Higher Ground Property Management, LLC. In his free time David enjoys spending time with his wife and daughters exploring the dunes, going to the beach, and cycling.
